VEDA is a private production and design enterprise, established in Skopje, in 1991. VEDA’s expert team is consisted of experienced mechanical, chemical and electronic engineers, some with over 35 years of experience in their field of expertise.
VEDA today offers innovative, customized technological lines and products in the field of:

New materials used for insulation, design to sustain extreme heat loads of over 3000®C

Aerosol fire extinguishing program

 Production of biodiesel and energy from renewable resources etc.

Since the beginning, VEDA’s vision was production of special processing equipment and products that would meet market demands in specific fields. At that time, the Macedonian market was too narrow for VEDA’s ideas, which immediately turned VEDA towards the world market.
Thus very soon, the expert team in VEDA, based on their prior knowledge in the field of composite materials and technological processes, created own unique production program for composite thermoplastic materials and products. The application of VEDA’s own technology and products was wide and offered solutions to VEDA’s potential partners in different field such as: innovative solutions in fire extinguishing technology, new wave of thermoplastic composite materials for military and civil applications, advanced insulation solutions and new materials, production of energy from renewable resources etc.
The abovementioned was accomplished due to significant and continuous investment in own Research & Development facilities and activities. Creating products that present innovation on the world market came with all the risks and challenges related to innovation in general. However, the developed concept provided quality solutions and added true competitive advantage, which made VEDA’s work recognized and valued. VEDA soon became destination for foreign partners interested in realization of special custom-made processing equipment, which resulted with completion of several Turnkey projects in different corners of the world.


Our Services

THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITE MATERIALS

Basic characteristic of this technology is that it allows production of composite materials, which consist binders based on some thermoplastics (polymer or elastomer). The nature of the binder material is dictating the technological path for the production process, having in mind that the composition includes components that require very careful handling (flammable or explosive). The production process is carried out in two phases, independently in time.

FIRE EXTINGUISHING AEROSOL SYSTEMS

Specific technological capabilities applied in gas-generators for aerosol fire extinguishing systems. Integrated technology and technological capabilities are based on own technological development derived from the expansion of the production of thermoplastic composite materials, its technological equipment and experience from creation of composite mixtures.

ENHANCED OIL RECOVERY

Next Generation of Enhanced Oil Recovery. “Gas Generators” We can offer advanced precondition to primarily develop wide variety of gas generators for different applications. This project could present the biggest perspective of this program for the future, taking into consideration the objective needs of such type of action, as well as the financial gain that can be achieved in the countries in which possibilities for application exist.

PERSONAL BODY and development of all types of NIJ Level types of armor, integrated with world’s strongest materials. With new approach to ballistic laws, we succeed to create new approach to this sophisticated technology.

All of the projects have been realized on the basis of our own technological solutions. The necessary equipment has been produced in accordance with our own documentation and a computerized system for the management of the technological processes which utilizes software developed by the company. We have presented our scientific findings to a large number of congresses throughout the world (USA, Russia, France, England, Germany, India, Belgium, Italy, Japan, Chile, South Korea, South Africa..). We have had presentations at the aeronautics exhibition in Burge – France and other exhibitions throughout the world.
